Since the success of our human rights film project "I wanted to live" and the resulting connections with human rights activists and film festivals around the world, we have increasingly been active at the intersection of performing arts and human rights. As a German cultural institution, we have been collaborating with the NGO Artists at Risk and the Goethe-Institut since 2022. Through this partnership, we provide artistic residencies and professional support to artists affected by war, especially those in the fields of film and theater, as well as assistance in all aspects of life.
