EMBASSY OF PERFORMING ARTS
AUDITION AS PUBLIC PERFORMANCE | 200 ACTORS
In 2008 Greta Amend and Christian Alexander Rogler founded the "Embassy Of Perfoming Arts" (EPA), which produced and hosted pioneering events like the Actors Roundtable, the Audition and several On-Stage-Happenings. We made talent visible whilst exploring innovative spaces for our theatrical work, like in this case our longterm cooperation partner, the Museum für Kommunikation Berlin.
On 15 July 2008 Greta performed the first public casting for actors in Germany, a research for new forms und ways to find talent. More than 200 actors from across Europe attended this innovative, rock´n roll-ish, 2-day cold-reading marathon organised and executed by Greta and produced by Christian.
